During the 4 weeks of HD production in the harsh heat and environment of Mali, Africa, I captured incredible audio for this feature documentary about the manuscripts of Timbuktu.

I used a double record system of sending 2 channels of audio to the VariCam camera with a Lectrosonics wireless camera hop, and individually recording 4 channels of audio to a Sound Devices 744T Hard Drive recorder.
